Our Lutherville Huntington Learning Center is approaching the completion of our 9th year helping students from K to 12th grade improve their ability to be successful in school, to be more confident, and to become motivated learners for years to come. My name is Ed Barczak and with the help of my wife and partner, Shirley, we left other businesses to find a challenge that would not solely provide income, but rather, give back to the community while helping children in something that could change their lives for the better.

Our center provides an accurate academic evaluation for all new students to benchmark where a student is currently and identifies any gaps that need to be addressed. Programs are developed for each student that target not only these academic needs, but also helps to build a student’s confidence which will in-turn provide the drive or motivation the student will need for years to come. We see many on our students who we helped in elementary school return when they enter 11th grade for coaching and instruction on getting their highest score possible on the college entrance exams.

It is a wonderful feeling when we meet with past students and they are so excited to tell us about their successes in their schooling. Nothing is more rewarding that seeing the joy in their faces.
