About The Gambrills Tutoring & Test Prep Center

Huntington of Gambrills & Crofton is owned by Dr. Gabriel Newman, neuropsychologist, and Tamar Newman, educator and nurse. We are immensely proud of our leadership team: David Utara, Center Director, Johns Hopkins graduate, educator and former police official, Megan Gucker, managing director, teacher and educator, Byron Stancil, Program coordinator, MIT graduate and Ph.D. candidate in Mathematics, and Mark Croatti, college professor and popular educator. This is a dedicated, caring team that places students first and gets outstanding results. We have also cultivated a special group of teachers who have proven track records of getting the best from their students.

Located in the busy and central Waugh Chapel Shopping Center, our center is a warm and friendly place, with cheerful smiles ready to greet every student or parent walking in. Our testimonials (a very small sampling of the many letters we receive from parents and students) convey the feeling of families as they finish their program with us. Students tell us, to their own surprise, that they have fun coming in to the center.
