Located in the town of Huntington in Suffolk, New York, the East Northport center is in the Elwood Shopping Center on Jericho Turnpike, across the street from the Elwood Public Library. The center primarily serves the Northport-East Northport Union Free School District, the Elwood Union Free School District, the Commack School District, the Deer Park District, the Harborfields Central School District, and the Huntington Public School District.
Our center is active in the East Northport community. We have established partnerships with local businesses like Mozzarella’s, Amore Pizza, Filetto’s Restaurant, Mario’s, TCBY, Snip Its, and JT Thomas & Co Hair Salon. We participate in several local fundraising events and community outreach events around town, and we schedule informational presentations about topics like homework help and recent changes to college entrance exams (SAT and ACT) at the community library and the local PTA.
The center staff and instructors at East Northport are highly committed to helping our students succeed, from building basic skills to preparing for college entrance exams like the SAT, ACT, and AP exam. We work with students K-12 and beyond, and we believe every child can learn.
