About The Springfield Tutoring & Test Prep Center

The West Springfield/Burke Center has been in the community for over 26 years and we have helped thousands of students in the greater Springfield area achieve their academic goals. As engaged community members, in the past we have supported our students at West Springfield High, Lake Braddock Secondary, and South County High Schools and their feeder schools.

Students trust us to help them prepare for the SAT or ACT exams as well as the HSPT and SSAT exams. Other students come to us for help with middle and high school courses like Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Physics, English and Biology. Parents trust us to work with their children to help fill in academic gaps that are preventing them from achieving their highest potential.

As leaders in the supplemental education community for nearly 40 years, Huntington is always evolving and studying education trends and needs. Recently Huntington was recognized by nationally acclaimed Clinical Psychiatrist Dr. Mary Rooney as “a phenomenal option for meeting the unique needs of kids with this diagnosis [sic ADHD]”. Our recently launched Advanced High School and College Study Skills program has received rave reviews from students and parents alike.

Our center is the place where families come as their child's academic needs change. We see students during their elementary years for foundational skill building, then again in middle school to prepare for a high school entrance exam, and then again in high school to prepare for the Redesigned SAT or ACT. With all of the changes in these tests recently, families are thankful for our expertise. In fact, many families refer their friends to us because of the success their children experience.

Our tutors are varied in their skill sets and career paths. They are certified teachers, medical researchers, paralegals, college professors, engineers, writers, lawyers, and dental students. While their experience and education is varied, they all are committed to our mission of giving every student the best education possible.
