In-Person & Online Tutoring - Portland, OR

Since opening in 2008, our center in Bethany Village has been honored to serve hundreds of families with children attending more than 30 different schools in our area. Many of our families have been with us for years and value our comprehensive and timely communication about their child’s progress.

We build strong relationships with the schools, and work closely with students’ classroom teachers in order to align our tutoring to the student’s needs. Parents request us to participate in school meetings in order to provide information to the school about the child’s progress in our center. We also sponsor school sports teams and school groups/events.

We like to say that every kid is a puzzle; it is our job to figure out how to put the pieces together. We focus on the whole child and differentiate our instruction according to their individual needs. Many of our students arrive lacking in confidence. We forge strong ties with each student as we work to improve their skills while also increasing their self-confidence. Parents will come to us after their child has been with us for a while, and literally say that their child has completely changed, and is not only excelling in school but is also more self assured socially.

Led by our owner, Dr. Greg Kulander, the Bethany team consists of the long-time Center Director Teya Forrette, Exam Prep Program Manager Dr. Julie Strand, and Administrative Director Lindsay Hunt.

We love what we do, and feel that nothing is more important than making a difference in a child’s life.
