Meet the Perry Hall Team!

Richard Bock (Owner) is a graduate of William Paterson College of New Jersey, holding a B.A. in History and Certification in Secondary Education. He is an advocate for education and children. Richard has been an active volunteer in the community and currently serves on the Harford Community College Foundation Board of Directors. Past affiliations include President of the Harford Business Roundtable for Education, Chair, Chamber of Commerce Education Liaison Committee, Board of Managers, Harford County YMCA, Commissioner, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and numerous HCPS working committees.

Melissa Metzger (Regional Director) graduated from Alma College in 2001 with a B.A. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, as well as a minor in both English and Natural Science. She began her teaching career as a second grade teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools. After leaving the classroom setting, Melissa managed school mentoring programs for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland, as well as after-school tutoring programs for struggling schools throughout Baltimore. Melissa joined the Huntington team as Center Director in Perry Hall in 2007. In 2013 she became the Regional Director for both the Perry Hall and Bel Air Huntington Learning Centers.
