The Huntington Learning Center in Mobile, Alabama opened on February 15, 2016. We are proud to be a part of the West Mobile Community.

One question we are frequently asked is “why did you open a learning center?” The answer is simple. We came to Huntington Learning Center because as parents, we know the heartbreak and struggle of parents who have a child who seems to be “falling through the cracks”. We have experienced the nightly homework battles and cried when our child said, “I’m stupid. I just can’t do this!” Our child needed something more than a few hours of after school help each week to get through tests. Tutoring barely helped him scrape by. It was a Band-Aid. What he really needed was to go back and relearn reading and math skills, at his own pace, so he could do this work on his own. It was very frustrating for him to have to work three times as hard as his classmates and still barely pass.

In our search for help, we discovered Huntington Learning Center. We were impressed by their success rate, proven methods, and accreditation. The closest centers were in Daphne and Gulfport. We decided that Mobile needed a Huntington Learning Center because when parents seek a solution to their child’s academic struggles, they need to have options. We are now proud owners of the Huntington Learning Center in Mobile and we look forward to serving families in the Mobile area for many years.
