Ed and Janet Gonzalez opened Huntington Learning Center in February of 2000. They chose to open in the Jacksonville Beach/East Arlington area because they felt a strong connection to the local community and wanted to make a positive impact in the lives of the children on a daily basis. They felt that because of Huntington's unique and individualized approach to education, they would make an impact with assisting the schools in providing each child with the best education possible.

Huntington is proud to say that we employ some of the finest and most qualified teachers in Jacksonville. We are also proud because we are the only fully accredited learning center in Jacksonville. Through the accreditation with The Middle States Association of Colleges and School, we ensure that our teachers are fully certified and accredited. Because of Huntington's approach to education, it allows our teachers to do what they love doing most: teach each child at the student's pace. We are excited to have a staff that is passionate and committed to the same vision.

Throughout the course of our 17 years of operation, we have developed wonderful partnerships with our neighborhood schools, serving in such capacities as: members of School Advisory Committee (SAC), Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), and official business partners. We are proud to serve the Jacksonville/Neptune/Atlantic/Ponte Vedra Beaches, East Arlington, San Pablo, and Southside communities.
